Pin-up girl and a heads up!

Urgh, so busy, let's see, I'm starting a new job (hired on as a studio assistant for a very successful british photo-realist oil painter), I'm finishing up a huge freelance contract, probably starting a new one next week, and doing some more pro-bono work for WMNF's Grand National Championships!

*Whew* Amidst all of this, I haven't had nearly enough time to do any drawing for myself, so this pin up girl was a way of remedying that. She's an older sketchbook drawing I always liked, so I figured I'd just take a couple of hours and see where it got me.  Dunno how to feel about the graphic elements, but I think they work mostly.  I'll see about doing more sketchbook stuff later on, though it might be awhile!

Last Set of Sketchbook pages!

So thats it for now, but I won't be going as long as I did this time between updates. Next one will be video game related...

Even more Sketch book Pages!

It's not that I haven't been doing art, it's just I haven't had access to a scanner until now!

OH MAN IT HAS BEEN WAY TOO LONG SINCE AN UPDATE.

SO MANY SKETCHBOOK PAGES!!!!

More to come!

Children's Book...IN SPACE!

So the perspective on the boat is off, but I'll just fix that in the finish. How awesome would it be to have a rocket propelled fishing boat? Answer: This awesome.

Ramen Girl Sketch

So this is the rough of my next piece. I wanted to do a product advertisement, but make it alot of fun. Eventually the girl's hair will become chinese dragons spitting fire (Ramen's spicey, get it?) This'll be my first painting in awhile, so lets hope I can pull it off!
